Installation Guide for MOBITEK SMS Controller S150

1. Download USB driver, manual, PC Configurator from https://filerun.mobiteks80.com/mobitek/wl/?id=QBJRAuSuSZq2HVSN73Gs8L5uXuAkoS5i
2. Install USB driver.
3. Download the configuration software, “S130~S150 PC Configurator Ver1.50.exe” to your PC/laptop.
4. Attach the I/O connector, red wire to “+” and black wire to “-“.
   
5. Attach the antenna.
   
6. Insert SIM card. The SIM card is mini size (NOT nano and micro).
   
7. Switch to “on”.
   
8. The red LED will blink every 2 seconds if SIM card is connected with GSM network; if it is NOT connected to any network then it will blink few times in 1 second.
   
9. Attach USB cable and connect to the USB port of PC/laptop.
   
10. Check the COM port number, in this example it is COM port 2.
    .
11. Run “S130~S150 PC Configurator Ver1.50.exe” and change the COM port number.
    
    • the “COM Settings” will display “com1” until “com5”, i.e. it only support COM port number 1 to 5 only
    • if the “Silicon Labs CP210x…” is connected at COM port 6 or higher, then change the COM port number to between 1 to 5 by referring to https://mobitek-system.com/blog/2016/06/how-to-change-the-com-port-number/
12. Make changes then “Save Settings”. If save is successful, then it will show “Download Success”. For more information about the settings, please refer to page 9 of the user manual, “SMS Controller S130~S150 user manual v. 3.0.pdf”.
